Cambridge Regional College has an exciting opportunity for a Job Coach to join our Supported Learning team, a vibrant department that helps support, teach, and instruct young people to prepare for adulthood. You will join us on a part-time (22.5 hours per week) term-time basis for 38 weeks of the year, with a salary of £25,918-£27,661 (Term Time only £13,447-£14,351 pro-rata). This position is fixed-term until June 2025. Experience in working with small groups or 1:1 and delivering life skills to young people with additional needs is ideal. Applicants must be able to drive, have access to a car, and be willing to travel within the college catchment area. Skills in assessing others and close collaboration with local authorities are required. The role involves coordinating an independent travel project, carrying out administrative tasks, and liaising with parents and carers. Training and assessment expertise in various topics and environments within Supported Learning are needed. Sessions may include drama, hair and beauty, sport and leisure, and life skills. Experience in delivering training and assessment from entry level to Level 1 is necessary. Applicants should have a positive outlook, good IT skills, Level 2 Maths and English, and the ability to maintain resources in different learning environments.
