We have an exciting opportunity within our Operations department who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Transport (Minibuses) and Road Safety Team Leader. About the role: You will join on a full time, permanent basis (40 hours per week). The successful incumbent is responsible for coordinating the College minibus drivers allocation and activities in line with College and Wellington College Prep School (WCP) needs. Key responsibilities (Including but not limited to; see job description for full requirements): Transport : Recruit and maintain an agreed number of minibus drivers with the right qualifications and experience to support the College and WCP. Liaise with the Operations Bursars EA, to ensure driver MiDAS training (or refresher) is conducted before undertaking driving tasks. This includes collating medical declarations and ensuring DVLA licence checks are conducted before they drive. Road Safety Liaise with the Estates team to ensure College roads are maintained and safe for all road users. Ensure College roads are free from pot holes, and vehicles causing obstructions/hazards (including vehicles parked illegally). Person Specification The successful incumbent must have Full Cat B driving licence - minimum of two years' driving experience. Aged 21 or over to comply with insurance and operator's licence requirements.
