The Job A Sales Development Representative will drive crucial pipeline generation and provide a positive first impression of RIB for prospects in private or public sphere. Responsibilities New sales Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other tools. Respond to inbound sales enquiries. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Sales Executives. Attend and represent RIB at trade and industry related CPD events, seminars, conferences and shows when required Collaborate and work closely with your team to follow up on campaigns, events, and other lead-generation efforts Build relationships and engage with decision-makers and key stakeholders to understand their business challenges and position our solutions as the answer. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospecting activities in CRM systems, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified leads. Market Awareness Maintain familiarity with the market and competing products Attend and represent RIB at trade and industry related CPD events, seminars, conferences and shows Training and Reporting Report to Sales Manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results Attend Sales Training courses set by your line manager. Health and Safety Ensure personal adherence to the company’s workplace health and safety requirements Take responsibility for own personal health and safety Actively participate in ensuring a safe work environment for all (fellow workers & others) Company Follow all company policies and procedures Skills & Qualifications Ideal skills At least 1 year of B2B cold calling or lead generation experience, with a proven track record of success. The ability to work remotely from home ie home office Capable of working independently and proactively Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook). Able to develop a rapport with a varied mix of people ranging from professional consultants, builders, developers, government departments and trade subcontractors Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Resilient and highly organised Desired skills Experience or knowledge in the estimating/construction/construction financial management or software industries, would be advantageous but is not essential RIB may require all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
