Location: Hybrid role based in Windsor, UK, 2 days in the office (Tuesday & Thursday) Overview As an Account Manager you will be responsible for developing our growing branded mid-market customer base. You will engage in collaboration with a rapidly expanding portfolio of FMCG brands acting as a direct point of contact based in our Windsor office. This role focuses on mid-market segment with accounts, where you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts. Ensure these accounts are not only thriving but also actively addressing any stock-related challenges by looking at the customers data and spotting trends and changes. You will work directly with our customer, where you'll be the go-to expert providing top-notch support to our Senior Account Managers and Account Directors. As the face of Profitero, it will be down to you to build strong relationships with your assigned key contacts and contribute towards the expansion of our network across the customer’s organisation. The role will involve working alongside the Senior Account manager, actively contributing toward the renewal process, client satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities through understanding your clients’ evolving business needs. Profile You will have some experience of working with targets in an FMCG and / or technology based sales environment, ideally in the eCommerce vertical. Working in a fast paced company you will have the ability to learn quickly and have the self motivation and determination it takes to succeed in a rapidly evolving environment. Ability to manage client engagement from the point of implementation is critical and will include working effectively with internal stakeholders such as Senior Account Management, Customer Support, Marketing and Insights to ensure we offer solutions which deliver against our clients’ needs. Responsibilities Ensuring client portfolio gets ROI from their Profitero service leading to satisfaction and uncontested renewals Assist, Go to contact for a portfolio of branded accounts and aligned internal teams Developing a high level of expertise of Profitero’s industry, product offerings, competitive landscape, and understanding of associated technologies and how they solve customer’s business issues Driving usage of Profitero’s service across client organisation Building relationships and networks across a portfolio of customers, upselling new features where appropriate Arranging conference calls, product demos, training and face-to-face meetings to educate our customers on our solution’s benefits/capabilities Preparing and managing your customer portfolio in SalesForce.com Qualified candidates will possess : Preference for a degree in a business/marketing related field 1-2 years of Business development or customer account management or sales Insights data experience in SaaS / eCommerce or related industry Experience owning the process with customers from end to end up to renewals (Desirable) Experience of working with Salesforce CRM Proven track record "upselling" and delivering on targets. Experience of digital commerce and/or an understanding of the eCommerce industry (Desirable) Data focused, able to analyse data and present your findings (eCommerce / Stock data) Must demonstrate excellent communication (written and oral) and active listening skills Must speak and write in English fluently Outstanding organisational skills and ability to multitask to prioritise and manage workflow Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities coupled with sound interpersonal skills Positive and enthusiastic outlook toward the attainment of sales and marketing goals Goal driven – strong desire to exceed expectations In addition, the following will be an advantage: Previous BDR, sales, account management experience in the FMCG and/or tech sector is highly desired Knowledge of other European languages would be useful: German, French, Spanish The above lists are not exhaustive and the job holder is required to undertake such duties as may reasonably be requested within the scope of the post.
