About the Role
Our client, a growing accountancy practice based in East London, is seeking a motivated and client-oriented Accountant to join their team. This firm specializes in providing services to small businesses and sole traders across the UK, and they are looking for someone who can bring a blend of accounting expertise and sales acumen to the role.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the first point of contact for new clients, you will play a critical role in driving the firm’s business development and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Client Engagement & Sales: You will handle a high volume of daily inquiries from potential clients, providing basic tax compliance advice, sending quotes, and managing follow-ups. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of the sales process, ensuring a seamless experience for new clients.
* Account Management: Once a client is onboarded, you will continue to act as their main point of contact, providing ongoing support and customer service as needed.
* Collaboration: Routine accounting tasks, such as bookkeeping, VAT filings, and other deliverables, will be handled by internal teams. This allows you to focus on client interactions and offering expert advice.
