Job summary Barbourne Health Centre is looking for a part-time Phlebotomist to join our existing nursing team, to work 8am to 1pm Monday to Friday. Main duties of the job We are looking for a good team player to provide high quality patient services. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in Phlebotomy preferably in a general practice setting. The purpose of the role is to assist the nursing team and clinicians in the service and delivery of the care management of the practice population. The post holder works under indirect supervision of the nursing team leader and undertakes task and duties delegated by the clinical team or a suitably qualified regulated professional. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, following practice policies and procedures. About us We are a well organised friendly, adaptable GMS Practice. We operate from a purpose built surgery on the outskirts of Worcester. We have just over 11,300 patients. We have a strong GP, ANP, PA, ACP clinical team and a nursing team with practice nurses, HCA, Phlebotomist's who are supported by Management, Administration and Reception teams. We are a part of the Worcester City Primary Care Network and have strong links with associated teams within and alongside this organisation.
