Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Hybrid working (with 2 days a week in the office)
Type: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw)
Salary: Earn circa £45,000 p.a. negotiable dependent on skills and experience, great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Responsibilities:
* Handle and give advice on issues like anti-social behaviour or possession cases.
* Help other teams within Home Group, to understand and respond to property litigation matters and claims.
* Oversee work given to outside firms, making sure it's done well and effectively.
* Prepare applications ready for court or tribunal, carry out research, prepare disclosures, and write statements. On occasion, you may be required to represent the company in court or request that another lawyer do so.
* Assist with other property legal issues, such as disrepair, when necessary.
Qualifications:
* A qualified legal executive, solicitor, or barrister with experience in housing law and housing litigation, capable of managing your own caseload.
* A problem solver, working on a wide range of different case types including ASB, Leasehold, injunctions, and possession cases, offering advice on a wide range of topics to find the best solution for the customers and business.
* Experience in negotiating out-of-court settlements, with an insight into court rules regarding costs, drafting and preparing court or tribunal documents, attending court proceedings where required.
* Knowledgeable in dispute resolution and offering dispute avoidance advice with a firm understanding of civil procedure rules and housing law.
* Capable of working independently yet effectively as part of a wider team.
* An effective communicator with robust interpersonal skills, able to interact successfully with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
