Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Employment Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join their Employment Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the drive and enthusiasm to further their career, build strong client relationships and help to grow their team.
As a Solicitor, you will effectively manage a caseload of matters, ensuring a high standard of client care is maintained at all times and fee targets are achieved. You will work to ensure that all legal matters are handled in a professional and efficient manner, which will involve:
1. Drafting and reviewing legal documents;
2. Assessing your clients’ legal needs;
3. Reviewing both the Firm and your clients’ business and legal policies;
4. Fostering and developing client relationships;
5. Analysing financial data and business strategies to provide informed recommendations;
6. Promoting team orientation to undertake the role and motivate colleagues;
7. Acting in the best interests of promoting the Firm in the local, sector, and regional market (as appropriate);
8. Ensuring compliance with all file management processes;
9. Advising and assisting clients.
Requirements:
1. An LLM Law Degree or equivalent; and LPC or SQE qualification.
2. Ability to deal with straightforward transactions, including unfamiliar tasks which present a range of problems.
3. Acceptable standard achieved routinely.
4. Uses own judgement but may need supervision at differing levels of transaction.
5. Identifies the legal principles relevant to the area of practice and applies them appropriately.
6. Uses experience to check the information provided.
