About the Role
As Inventory Planner, you’ll be optimising inventory levels and working to ensure product availability. You’ll develop and refine tools for inventory management, collaborate with key teams, and use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and minimise any potential risks to supply.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and refining tools and processes to analyse and manage inventory.
* Working closely with teams to align production, shipping, and inventory plans with business objectives.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify challenges and ensure products are available at the right time.
* Driving strategic planning to optimise inventory, reduce waste, and boost overall supply chain efficiency.
* Presenting data-driven insights through visual reports and dashboards, making complex information accessible for decision-makers.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced supply chain specialist with strong data analysis skills who thrives when collaborating with colleagues to identify and resolve supply chain problems and challenges.
A background in food would be ideal but isn’t essential as our client will consider any manufacturing experience.
Other key requirements include:
* Strong experience in supply chain planning (inventory, production, or materials planning).
* A solid understanding of inventory management, production planning, and overall supply chain processes.
* Able to communicate complex data clearly and make decisions based on insights.
* A collaborative, solution-driven mindset with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in data analysis and BI tools (PowerBI, MS Excel, and similar platforms).
