As the Industrial Engineer II you will be responsible for analysis, development of improvement plans and implementation of changes in material flow operations. This will also include cross functional communication and coordination of associated projects. The successful Industrial Engineer will have the following Key Accountabilities: - Drive development and sustainment of the material flow integration within the facility - Manage the expansion of material flow with the inclusion of New Product Introduction - Lead and monitor material flow operations throughout the facility, providing resolutions for issues that have been defined along with identifying continuous improvement throughout - Quantify continuous improvement with the involvement of Supply Chain, Materials, and Manufacturing to ensure KPI's are in alignment - Help develop and maintain standard work practices and strategies with internal and external logistics (in-plant flow & warehouse to plant flow) - Oversee indirect labour by defining kanban, kitting & milk run operations, calculating process times - Assist with scheduling systems and define internal flow for product movement - Communicate with Materials team members along with other support members on results from overall objectives - Be part of a team that will transform the material flow and factory operations - Innovate solutions above the typical industry known methods What you will need: - Bachelor of science degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or comparable degree or equivalent working experience - 1 to 3 years of experience within a Manufacturing Engineering position in similar industry (preferably Automotive, Aerospace or Machinery) - Experience with implementation and management of kanban process, kitting deployment and sequencing within assembly or manufacturing - Knowledge of production processes and systems used for discrete manufacturing, ability to engineer material handling solutions - The capability to analyse business processes by breaking down complex problems into single and manageable components The Company reserves the right to enhance criteria in order to facilitate the shortlisting process.
