Job Description – Sales Consultant - Waste and Water
UK Direct Business Solutions are an established and fast-growing Utilities Consultancy based in Houghton-le-Spring.
Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Sales Consultants to work predominantly within our water and waste sales channel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, prospecting potential clients, and closing deals over the phone. You will call our existing customer base to cross-sell as well as work on acquiring new customers, being part of a fast-growing team to achieve collective goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Achieve and exceed sales targets and associated KPI’s.
2. Maintain a strong work ethic to speak with lots of business owners every day.
3. Handle objections and demonstrate the ability to influence.
4. Work with customers to identify their water and waste needs and provide customised solutions.
5. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to exceed their expectations.
6. Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and new products.
7. Manage and update customer information in the company's CRM system.
Essential Requirements
1. Strong and proven ability to exceed sales targets.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Well-organised.
4. Computer literate.
5. Ability to act on own initiative and prioritise workload as well as work in a team.
6. Ability to work well under pressure.
7. Excellent accuracy skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work to tight deadlines.
9. Confidence, drive, and enthusiasm.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Knowledge of the water and waste sector.
Package
1. Full-time, Permanent.
2. Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience, OTE 50k +.
3. Holidays: 32 days inclusive of Bank Holidays and the Christmas Period off.

5. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm as we value having a work/life balance!

Office Based, Durham.
