The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) are a registered charity who have been transforming the lives of people affected by drugs and alcohol misuse for over 40 years.
Generis are a specialist training and development department and part of ADS. We deliver accredited and bespoke training packages to internal and external candidates.
It is a very exciting time to be working in the drug and alcohol field, with significant new career opportunities opening up.
Generis has an exciting career opportunity for someone with existing experience working in the substance misuse field wanting to be part of a new and innovative development. We have just invested in a world-class training platform to make sure we’re ready to support delivery of the existing range of qualifications, and to develop more to be able to support the delivery of high quality services.
If you have the Level 3 Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent, the Level 3 Education & Training (formally PTLLS) or equivalent, and are willing to develop your skills as an assessor or verifier, you could be the person we are looking for.
If you already have experience, knowledge and skills in drugs and alcohol and would like the opportunity to use these skills in a different way; to train and develop others to work within Substance Misuse; and help shape the future of the field for the next generation; then we can also provide a comprehensive training package to enhance your skills.
In return, ADS are offering:
