About the British Red Cross
At the British Red Cross, we provide national and international aid, responding to emergencies and supporting people living in crisis. We help anyone, anywhere in the UK; get the support they need if crisis strikes. Our organization was born out of a desire to bring help without discrimination. We are looking for the best people to help us provide support to millions of people affected by crisis in the UK.
Diversity is something we celebrate, and we want you to be able to bring your authentic self to the Red Cross. We want you to feel that you are in an inclusive environment, and a great position to help us spread the power of kindness.
Working for the British Red Cross
Since 1870, the British Red Cross has been helping people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. It's our mission to help as many people as we can in whatever way we can. We're always on the lookout for people with bright minds and big ideas to join the Red Cross Movement and help us use human kindness to overcome crisis.
Kindness Drives the Movement
The British Red Cross has been helping people in crisis for more than 150 years and we hope to do so for at least 150 more. As an organization, we are guided by seven fundamental principles: humanity, neutrality, impartiality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality. These principles are at the heart of our values: compassionate, courageous, dynamic, and inclusive.
