Contract Type: Permanent, Variable Hours

The role of Instrumental / Vocal (Piano) Teacher focuses mainly upon tuition of individuals and small groups in schools and Music Centres across Hertfordshire. You will be expected to maintain the high standards we expect of each other, for the children and young people we inspire. Teaching will mostly take place during the school day, evenings, and Saturday mornings and will always be guided by the aims and intentions of our Teaching & Learning Standards Framework. Travel between agreed locations may be required and therefore having your own vehicle is preferred but not essential.
Our teachers must always commit to delivering at least 33 teaching weeks over the academic year. Working hours will be agreed with your People Manager. Pay will be within the range outlined above, will be discussed upon appointment and is dependent upon your skills and experience. All Instrumental / Vocal Teachers can progress through the pay scale via successful performance management.
