Teacher of AS/A Level Business Studies /Economics - Required for September 2025
St. David’s College is a popular and over-subscribed Sixth Form College, providing high quality education for 16-19 year olds within Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. In our 2019 Estyn inspection, we achieved an ‘excellent’ grade in Inspection Area 1: Standards, and in Inspection Area 5: Leadership and Management.
Governors seek to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of AS/A Level Business Studies /Economics. The successful candidate should be committed to teaching sixth form (16-19 age range). We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who promotes excellent teaching and learning in order to secure outstanding outcomes. Applications from teachers with experience in teaching AS/A Level Business Economics and BTEC Business at a mix of levels would be welcomed.

The position is offered as a full-time role. It attracts a salary of between £32,303 - £49,934, pro rata, dependant on experience.
Candidates shortlisted for interview will be expected to teach a micro-lesson as part of the selection process.
