Key responsibilities
* Engage with customers to discuss pain points and translate them into product requirements.
* Design workflows and interactions that align with our product strategy and deliver value to customers.
* Utilise systems thinking to connect various product components and ensure cohesive user experiences.
* Break down your work into actionable work packages that can be scheduled with delivery managers.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, operational managers, project managers, and support staff.
* Use rapid design methods such as sketching, UI flows, and prototyping to explore ideas efficiently.
* Communicate your design solutions effectively, clearly stating the value, benefits, and target users.
* Test and refine your designs with users to validate design decisions before development.
* Stay up to date with the latest design trends and techniques to continuously improve our design practice.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
* Strong skills in workflow design, systems thinking, and problem-solving.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.
* Experience of engaging with customers to gather requirements and feedback.
* Ability to translate customer pain points into actionable product requirements and design solutions.
* Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
* Experience working collaboratively with UI designers and UX researchers.
* Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and other design artefacts.
* Ability to break down work into actionable tasks and coordinate with delivery managers.
* Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms (tablets and phones).
* Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritise your workload.
* Open to receiving objective criticism and able to create actions from feedback.
* Experience running beta testing programmes or pilot initiatives with customers.
* Experience working in scrum teams and agile environments; facilitation experience is a plus.
* Experience writing and speaking about design.
* Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
* Familiarity with user-centred design, design thinking, responsive web design, prototyping, and system design.

Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
