Job purpose
The Account Executive, Endoscopy is responsible for generating sales revenue through personal interaction with prospective customers within a territory. The role involves promoting core products, maintaining current accounts, educating the market on product benefits, and establishing a network of references with partner representatives. The goal is to achieve a 10% annual increase in market share.
Duties and responsibilities
* Drive sales revenue and increase market share in the territory.
* Develop new business methods and pursue new opportunities.
* Implement strategic plans to achieve a 10% annual market share growth.
* Coordinate clinical demonstrations for target accounts and pursue closing business.
* Work with Clinical Sales Specialists to ensure successful demos.
* Nurture existing customer accounts through routine calls, demonstrations, and in-service training.
* Build relationships with healthcare professionals and hospital staff.
* Train customers on equipment use and provide educational materials.
* Become an expert in reprocessing techniques related to products.
* Support VIP customers as directed.
* Collaborate with Product Development for clinical evaluations and report findings.
* Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to supervisors.
* Attend trade shows and adhere to safety and regulatory policies.
Qualifications
Successful candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related fields, with 3-5 years of sales experience. Skills include independent work, communication, time management, multitasking, and technical knowledge. Ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays, is required.
