Travis Perkins is a network of 500+ branches that supply quality timber, building materials, kitchens, plumbing and heating, landscaping, painting and decorating essentials, and tools to trade professionals and self-builders across the UK.
For this role you will be joining the team at Malvern Travis Perkins. This is a well established team and you will be placed in a fast paced environment and will be at the forefront of our business with this customer facing role. The team is very friendly and has a lot of experience between the staff members in the team. They strive to make sure their service is the best in town. We are looking for somebody who can bring enthusiasm and drive to our sales team to make the branch complete. You don't need to come from our sector or even know our products, as we will provide you with a great on-boarding and induction. Some experience in customer service and merchanting is ideal but not essential as we are looking for someone with drive and determination to help this branch succeed.

What will I be doing?

8. Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis
9. You’ll handle requests, provide information on our products, prepare quotes and help each customer with their purchase, taking our sales from good to great
10. You'll also be responsible for ensuring the safe and correct movement of our products around the branch
11. Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures
