The Centre is one of the UK's largest independent clinics established in 2009 as part of a joint venture between 5 regional consultants and the global hospital company, Ramsay Healthcare. As well as delivering exceptional standards of clinical care to our surgical patients, we cover a range of surgical specialities including plastic/cosmetic surgery, minor orthopaedic surgery (including hand and foot surgery), general surgery & ophthalmic surgery.

The Centre is one of the UK's largest independent clinics established in 2009 as part of a joint venture between 5 regional consultants and the global hospital company, Ramsay Healthcare. As well as delivering exceptional standards of clinical care to our surgical patients, we cover a range of surgical specialities including plastic/cosmetic surgery, minor orthopaedic surgery (including hand and foot surgery), general surgery & ophthalmic surgery. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of supporting the manager and team to enhance patient care and customer experience, whilst facilitating the best possible clinical outcomes. A commitment to the development of high quality evidence based care is essential, combined with the tenacity and passion required to drive commercial success in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. Reporting directly to the Outpatient Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of Clinical Services, you will be expected to project manage and deliver on key initiatives. What you'll bring with you: * A strong clinical background within a hospital setting * Significant exposure in a senior staff nurse role to external stakeholders such as consultants, physicians, allied health professionals, patients and suppliers * An interest in IPC and prepared to lead * Able to oversee day to day activity of the OPD for the Outpatient Manager and provide support and leadership to the team * Professional Registration with the NMC/HCPC * Assist in the rostering staff to ensure efficient use of staff hours within the outpatient department * Participate in clinical governance, ensuring audits undertaken, investigation of incidents/complaints * Participate in care delivery, acting as a role model ensuring the highest levels of professional standards * Optimise efficient use of consumables and stock levels * Regular liaison with the maintenance department to ensure service dates for all outpatients equipment are adhered to and service contracts maintained * Regular liaison with business development and marketing personnel to ensure effective usage of the promotional materials within waiting areas and consulting rooms * Competent in the deployment of resources needed to sustain agreed activity levels * Able to build effective controls for the efficient monitoring and management of clinical records * Able to install positivity into the team and work together and support all staff members In return we offer
