Job Opportunity: SEND Support Team Leader
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the college's SEND Support team. You will line manage a team of LSAs and provide in-class support to our students with SEND to enable them to achieve their full potential.
Salary: £32,211 - £35,094 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
The working pattern is Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day, Friday 7 hours per day, 52 weeks per annum.
Location: Abingdon Campus
Contract: Permanent
Successful candidates will have experience of line managing others, be experienced LSAs or Teaching Assistants, with a broad range of experience supporting young people within an educational environment. The ability to communicate professionally with staff, students, and other stakeholders will be integral to this role.
Your knowledge and understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and the Preparation for Adulthood framework will be important to your success in this role. You will be highly self-motivated, an excellent team player, and solution-focused.
