Are you an experienced Site Manager with a passion for leading projects and a strong background in arboriculture? Ground Control is seeking a Senior Site Manager to join our team, playing a pivotal role in our operations with an emphasis on delivering successful arboriculture projects and supporting accurate project pricing.
The Role:
As our Senior Site Manager, you will take ownership of projects from planning through to execution, ensuring they meet Ground Control’s standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. With a primary focus on arboriculture, you will leverage your expertise to lead teams, oversee project compliance, and manage resources efficiently. Your ability to work closely with the Commercial team on pricing and budgeting will be essential to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Arboriculture Projects: Oversee all stages of arboriculture projects, ensuring completion within timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
* Pricing and Cost Management: Collaborate on project pricing, providing accurate estimates that reflect project scopes and resources.
* Team Leadership: Manage site teams effectively, fostering a safe, productive, and collaborative environment.
* Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met while aligning with Ground Control’s standards.
* Compliance and Health & Safety: Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices, emphasizing arboriculture-specific compliance.

* Arboriculture Expertise: Proven background in arboriculture project management, with knowledge of the specific demands and regulations involved.
* Pricing Acumen: Experience in project pricing, with the ability to create accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
* Leadership & Communication: Effective at motivating teams and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Who we are looking for:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in arboriculture or vegetation management, as well as some but not necessarily all, of the following:
* Personal Track Safety qualification.
* Individual Working Alone qualification.
* Controller of Site Safety qualification.
* Experience of working safely within guidance and legislation.
* Experience of leading teams and or coordinating the work of others.
* Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively.
* Be IT competent.
* Ability to prioritise workload and balance demands from numerous sources to ensure that all stakeholder needs are met.
