Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to work within our Children's Neurodevelopment Service across Flintshire and Wrexham. The service provides assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder to children and young people from the age of 5. The team consists of clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, neurodevelopment practitioners, paediatricians, advanced-nurse practitioners and support staff. Under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist, you will be involved in supporting psychological assessment and formulation activities, as well as offering brief intervention in the form of co-developing neurodevelopmental profiles with neurodivergent young people. There will be opportunities to develop your skills in audit and clinical research and support various service development projects whilst continuing your professional development. We have excellent links with the North Wales Clinical Psychology Programme.
