We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our change initiatives.
As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of change initiatives. Reporting to the Principal Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards. Your efforts will help maintain project momentum and ensure that all deliverables align with organisational goals.
Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Drive Project Execution and Planning Practices: Coordinate project activities, develop project schedules, and task lists that align with strategic objectives.
* Resource Coordination: Assign tasks and manage team workloads to ensure efficient delivery of project outcomes.
* Monitor and Manage Risks, Issues, and Performance Metrics: Identify and document project risks and issues, assist in developing mitigation strategies, and track progress for timely resolution.
* Collaborative Solution Delivery: Coordinate cross-functional teamwork to ensure alignment with project objectives.
* Monitor Project Progress and Support Transparency: Track project progress, maintain comprehensive project documentation, and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders.
* Promote Continuous Improvement in Quality Management: Oversee project deliverables to ensure they meet established quality standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Manage Third-Party Relationships and Team Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with third-party suppliers and internal teams to ensure the delivery of quality solutions.
* Support Stakeholder Engagement and Requirement Gathering: Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure their needs are effectively integrated into project plans.
* Support Change Control Processes: Manage changes within the project scope and support key stakeholders in implementing change control processes.
* Team Support: Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the team by providing guidance and mentoring.
The successful candidate will impact the organisation by ensuring that assigned projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role contributes directly to the success of change projects by coordinating resources, managing tasks, and maintaining project schedules. By ensuring that project milestones are met and risks are managed effectively, the Project Manager helps to maintain momentum and keep projects aligned with business needs, contributing to improved operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
The preferred candidate will come from a software and applications environment. Experience with Dynamics or Business Central is an advantage.
You will have:
* Experience: Proven experience in project management, preferably within a change management environment.
* Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with modern project management and development practices.
* Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* You must be living in the central belt area of Scotland.
* You must have the unobstructed right to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
