Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Basildon Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting Create individualised learning plans to support the academic development of each student Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive support system for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN education Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practises Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students Proficiency in assessing student progress and implementing appropriate interventions Preferred Qualifications: Additional certification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching Experience in delivering outreach education services Working Conditions: This role requires working closely with students with diverse learning needs. The tutor will be expected to travel to various outreach locations within the East of England region. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
