This is an exciting opportunity to join us at #TeamNP and play a key role in ensuring evidential files are managed in accordance with the National File Standard and are sent to Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in a timely manner.
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Case Management Officer to join our team on a part time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing case file reviews on all pre and post charge not guilty files to ensure consistency with the National File Standard. This role also involves completing business recovery processes where required and preparing performance data to identify areas where files have failed to meet the appropriate standard.
What you’ll do
* Review all pre and post charge not guilty files for consistency with the National File Standard and complete necessary business recovery processes.
* Manage case progression for not guilty Magistrate court files, preparing case plans and ensuring timely submission of upgrade files.
* Oversee Crown Court case progression, preparing case plans and ensuring timely submission of subsequent files.
* Identify and complete further enquiries, ensuring timely information delivery to Criminal Justice partners.
* Advise and support operational officers on presenting evidential files at each stage of the Criminal Justice process.
