The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for a Site Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator to join our manufacturing site in Crick, Northampton, on a permanent basis.

The Role:
The role of the HSE Coordinator is to provide support and guidance to the manufacturing site on operational Health, Safety and Environment matters.
Key Accountabilities:
* Support with the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental focus to ensure the required standards are achieved
* Support with site-based health, safety and environmental reporting ensuring regulatory compliance is achieved
* Ensure that site Health, Safety and Environment policies and systems are maintained effectively to support the adherence to all relevant legislation and agreed internal standards for Health, Safety, Environmental and Site Security
* Monitor management processes, including the investigation of accidents, plant damage and near miss incidents and management of the incident recording system, to ensure a safe working environment is maintained
* Provide developmental support, coaching and direction to operatives ensuring expected standards, results and enhanced capabilities are achieved
* Providing support to ensure that equipment is maintained and operating correctly and safely across operational sites
* Actively reducing the risk profile across site via identification of hazards, risk assessment and task-based analysis. Propose and implement continuous improvements ensuring goals are achieved
* Support site with workplace transport safety including vehicle standards, driver safety and ensuring administrative processes are both monitored and followed
* Provide support with Health, Safety and Environment audit programmes to ensure compliance with agreed standards and recommend areas for improvement
* Develop strong relationships with site line managers and colleagues to influence and support Health, Safety and Environment standards and progression against documented plans
* Propose, support, and help deliver safety-based CAPEX projects across site
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* National/professional qualification in Health, Safety and Environment and/or experience in a Health, Safety and Environment role gained in a manufacturing environment or related field
* Up to date knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislation
* A working knowledge of manufacturing and warehouse processes
* Ability to engage and give added value information
* Self-motivated with ability to influence and drive change
* Excellent written verbal and communication skills

* Salary: Competitive + 10% bonus
* Hours: 40 hours - Monday to Friday
