The Role:
Legend is hiring a Content Manager, reporting directly to our Senior Gaming Specialist.
As the Content Manager for our New Zealand iGaming sites, you’ll be defining the market strategy and planning for the New Zealand [NZ] market. You will manage a small team to support our existing Content and SEO teams to deliver high-quality casino content.
Your Impact:
* Build out the long-term market strategy for NZ markets, including detailed content and product roadmaps to ensure we become the dominating sites in the NZ market.
* Produce optimized content that engages our audiences and meets SEO best practices, using tools like Ahrefs, SemRush, and SurferSEO to recommend optimization strategies.
* Coach and nurture a successful Content team to ensure deadlines are met and content is of high quality.
* Utilize data tools to analyze the performance of your portfolio and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Be accountable for the overall content performance and quality of your portfolio of sites. Plan strategic initiatives with your team and report progress on initiatives, quarterly goals, OKRs, and KPIs to stakeholders.
* Lead the New Zealand market by using your iGaming knowledge to provide insights based on data analytics and research to prioritize the right initiatives for growth and success.
What You'll Bring:
* Experience working in the iGaming industry (casino focus), either on the affiliate or operator side, with a deep understanding of core gaming user journeys, needs, and preferences in an English-speaking market, ideally New Zealand.
* Extensive experience in writing and proofing English content, with an unrivaled eye for detail, using CMS systems to upload and manage content (such as WordPress).
* Hands-on experience with SEO from a previous role and experience using metrics to monitor and validate content success.
* Experience leading a team or line management.
* A champion for building and improving digital gaming products that add value for players, understanding how Content, SEO, UX, and product features work together.
* A data-driven mindset, capable of translating findings into actionable initiatives to optimize content and expand websites.
* A team player mentality, eager to help upscale Gaming knowledge across the wider business.
* Comfort in taking the lead in your team, encouraging communication and collaboration, and presenting the team’s ideas, strategy, and results to stakeholders.
The Interview Process:
1. 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
2. 2nd: Interview with our team, Senior Content Editor, and Country Manager (1 hour video via Zoom)
3. 3rd: Take-home task
4. 4th: Final interview with our team, Senior Gaming Specialist, and Head of Content (1 hour video via Zoom)
