Summary
An all-through diverse faith school based in Hayes is seeking a qualified Teacher of English to join them from the summer term, April to July with a view of becoming permanent for the right person. This is a full-time temp position working Monday to Friday term time.
The role: Lessons are already planned, marking is involved. This school has an earlier start time of 7.45am and an earlier finish time of 3pm.

Led by a forward-thinking and innovative Head of Department, the English department is a supportive and collaborative team.
The Head of School is seeking a teacher who:
* Can deliver planned comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and school’s educational standards.
* Fosters a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
* Assesses and evaluates student performance through assignments, tests, and observations.
* Provides constructive feedback to students to aid their learning and development.
* Collaborates with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
* Participates in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
* Maintains accurate records of student attendance and academic performance.
Skills
* Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment.
* Familiarity with educational technology and digital teaching tools is advantageous.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' academic growth.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
To be successful, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Relevant degree
* DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo a new check
* The right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship)
* A willingness to be challenged and not afraid of challenge
* Following the ethos of the faith school (vegetarian school)
