Assistant Education Health and Care Manager 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year FTE Salary range: £28,350.05 - £30,810.03 We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Education, Health and Care Manager to join us at Coleg Plas Dwbl in Pembrokeshire. The purpose of the role is to assist Education Health and Care Managers (EHCMs) to ensure that students benefit from Ruskin Mill Trust’s (RMT) full Practical Skills Therapeutic Education (PSTE) offer and receives the training and support they need fulfil the outcomes identified in their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). In order to be successful in this role you will: • Have some understanding of all legal and regulatory requirements and frameworks, e.g. the SEN Code of Practice, and be aware of ongoing developments and research in the fields of Education, Health and Care. • Have a good understanding of a wide range of possible diagnoses challenges of students such as autism, attachment difficulties, ADHD, epilepsy and learning difficulties. • Have some experience of managing the education and support of a young people with Special Educational Needs and to have significant experience in SEN provision and education frameworks. • Be able to demonstrate a high degree of personal and emotional resilience. • Have excellent communication skills • Have excellent organisational skills.
