Role Purpose:
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Facilities & Operations Coordinator to join our Facilities and Trading Operations Team at Jensten. This is a blended role, offering the opportunity to support both our portfolio of UK office facilities and contribute to our wider strategic business operations. If you have strong Excel skills, a keen eye for detail, and a background in administration or operations, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
This role is based in our Huntingdon office, with bi-weekly travel to our London office and occasional travel to our other UK office locations (nearly 60 nationwide). There is also some flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Responsibilities (Supportive):
* Assist with coordinating Health & Safety-related activities.
* Support the scheduling of remedial work and maintenance tasks.
* Help manage central office logistics and maintenance requests.
* Organise facilities-related training sessions and maintain accurate records.
* Maintain and update facilities trackers and documents.
* Support with ordering equipment and coordinating signage or storage logistics.
* Provide general administrative support for facilities-related processes.
Operations Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of strategic business objectives and projects.
* Monitor and support strategic initiatives and contribute to project management.
* Help drive consistent, high-performance delivery across our trading businesses
* Provide feedback to the wider team on products, development, marketing, and other business areas.
* Support the Trading Operations team with regular reporting and analysis.
* Assist with identifying and addressing operational weaknesses and escalating issues where necessary.
* Maintain a high-level understanding of all ongoing initiatives within the Retail Operations team.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and highly organised individual with a strong administrative background, ideally in an operations or support role. You will have experience coordinating or supporting business processes, handling data with confidence in Excel, and managing multiple priorities with ease. You’ll be an effective communicator, able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and bring a proactive approach to driving operational efficiency. Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is beneficial but not essential.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data and reporting.
* Confident communicator who can build and maintain strong working relationships.
* Able to manage multiple responsibilities and deliver results against deadlines.
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Must have a car and be willing to travel to office locations across the UK as required, including bi-weekly visits to our London office.
