Supply Chain Manager We're looking for a strategic, forward-thinking Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of all supply chain operations, particularly within our high-spec aerospace division. You’ll lead a capable and growing team, drive process improvement, and be instrumental in implementing a new ERP/MRP system to replace legacy Excel-based workflows. Reporting to the outgoing Commercial Director (with a six-month handover), and ultimately to the MD, you’ll play a critical role in evolving our supply chain to support our scaling operation. Key Responsibilities Lead and modernise end-to-end supply chain processes across Aerospace and Conveyor Chain divisions. Drive and implement ERP/MRP system integration from the ground up, supporting digital transformation goals. Develop, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team including buyers, planners, warehouse, and stores personnel. Manage long aerospace lead times (typically 6–12 months) and complex tri-party order agreements. Build strong global supplier relationships with a focus on strategic sourcing, cost reduction, and sustainability. Optimise procurement, production planning, inventory, and logistics. Ensure strict compliance with aerospace standards including AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO 14001. Contribute to sustainability goals including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and circular economy practices. Collaborate closely with the MD, HR, IT, and Engineering teams to support broader business strategy. Ideal Candidate We’re seeking someone who combines operational rigour with big-picture thinking, a supply chain professional who thrives in fast-paced, quality-driven environments: Supply chain experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering is highly desirable. Hands-on ERP/MRP implementation experience (from scratch or major overhaul). Strong understanding of sustainability practices within manufacturing. Excellent leadership and people development skills. Familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO 14001. Experience managing long and complex lead times within global supply chains. Strategic sourcing and supplier development capability. CIPS qualification is beneficial, but not essential.
