We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a modern Secondary School in Rochdale. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Biology, Physics, and Chemistry and inspiring students to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons to students of varying abilities.
2. Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the curriculum.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
4. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and academic growth.
5. Utilise innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement.
6. Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school activities.
Requirements
1. A degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
2. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
3. Previous experience teaching Science at Secondary level is preferred.
4. Strong communication and classroom management skills.
5. A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
