About the role:
As a KS1 Teacher, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping young learners’ foundational skills and love for education. This part-time position is perfect for an experienced teacher or a strong Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a commitment to excellence and a passion for early childhood education. You will have the chance to inspire, support, and guide a class of enthusiastic KS1 pupils, using creative and engaging teaching methods tailored to their developmental needs. Working in close collaboration with the wider teaching team and support staff, you’ll plan and deliver lessons across the national curriculum, focusing on core skills and supporting students’ social and emotional growth.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working within a KS1 setting (NQTs/ECTs welcome).
• Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum for KS1.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor support as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Engage with parents and guardians to provide regular feedback on student development.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among pupils, promoting an inclusive classroom.
