Carnegie Primary School, founded in 1888, is in the south-eastern suburbs, approximately 15 kilometres from Melbourne. Current enrolment is approximately 580 students with a high percentage of students having English as an additional language. 170 students speak a language other than English at home.

Selection Criteria
SC1.A graduate or postgraduate tertiary qualification in Psychology - full psychology registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
SC2.Demonstrated ability to deliver a comprehensive psychological service including undertaking assessments and intervention, advocacy, support and service coordination.
SC3.Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of programs that foster resilience in children and young people and address their social, emotional and educational needs.
SC4.Demonstrated ability to engage with complex and at-risk students and disengaged families within an educational setting.
SC5.Highly developed communication, networking and interpersonal skills including the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and liaise with a range of key stakeholders.
Role
Attendance requirement for this position: The position is for 2 days per week.
Range 4 is distinguished by broader management responsibility, particularly in the areas of finance, human resource and other support functions. Management responsibility extends to ensuring appropriate support levels are maintained across the school.
Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery of support services to students, teachers, parents and other school clients.
* Ensure all external providers deliver the required service.
