Overview
MBC Recruitment LTD is looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quantity surveying, strong negotiation skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Duties
* Prepare and submit tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
* Identify potential cost savings and ensure compliance with regulations
* Monitor and report on project budgets, preparing costs analysis and feasibility studies
* Evaluate and analyze project risks and opportunities
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other construction professionals
* Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure compliance with specified standards
* Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreement with clients and subcontractors
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: NEGOTIABLE

* Monday to Friday

Requirements
Experience
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field.
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, costs, and client requirements.
* Ability to use MS Office and other project management software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
* Membership of a professional body (e.g. RICS) is desirable but not essential.
Must have a Full Driving Licence and Own Car
