The Telecoms Support Engineer Opportunity:
We're seeking a talented Telecoms Engineer to join our growing team and play a vital role in designing, installing, and maintaining our cutting-edge telecommunication systems. In this exciting role, you'll contribute to the success of our projects, ensuring exceptional service for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, install, test, and commission telecoms equipment, including fiber optic cables, routers, and switches.
2. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal network performance.
3. Work collaboratively with other engineers, technicians, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
4. Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
5. Stay up-to-date on the latest telecoms technologies and best practices through continuous learning.
6. Document technical procedures and configurations to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer.
About you:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Telecoms Engineer or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of telecommunications principles, networking protocols, and equipment.
3. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
4. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
5. A valid driver's licence (Manual Licence) and the ability to travel.
6. Working knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the telecoms industry.
7. Familiarity with fiber optics, copper cabling, and network testing tools (a plus).
