We are exclusively representing a global hi-tech equipment manufacturer, looking to strengthen their product development function through the addition of a Senior Reliability Engineer.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, quality, or science, with a proven track record in reliability engineering and product development. You will promote best practices in Reliability Engineering by supporting the business with training, facilitation, and analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitation: Lead Design for Reliability processes with teams, enhancing their capabilities and ensuring effective implementation.
* Analysis: Perform complex reliability analyses, utilizing tools such as Reliability Block Diagrams, Life Data Analysis, and Design of Experiments.
* Review: Oversee and review the work of other engineers and teams, ensuring the quality of their outputs.
* Training: Specify and deliver training on reliability engineering tools and methods, such as FMEA, to support project needs.
* Reporting: Develop and automate report content for frequently requested data, streamlining delivery to stakeholders.
* Data Strategy: Identify necessary data to maximize the benefits from reliability analyses and activities.
* Process Improvement: Identify gaps in the Design for Reliability portfolio and develop new processes and solutions to address them.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a Science discipline.
* Experience: Minimum of 6 years in an engineering role, with at least 3 years as a reliability practitioner and 5 years in product development or improvement.
* Tools Proficiency: Strong knowledge of reliability engineering tools (e.g., FMEA, Life Data Analysis, Reliability Block Diagrams, Design of Experiments). Experience with ReliaSoft, SQL, PowerBI, Minitab, and Python is desirable.
* Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with distributed global teams. Specific product knowledge is beneficial but not required.
