Job Title: Complex Care Support Worker

Wage/Salary: GBP17.75 Weekdays and GBP19.75 Weekends Gross per Hour

Essential Qualifications: Previous experience supporting a young client (early years) with complex care and medical needs (suctioning and epilepsy)
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 12-hour shifts, at 7.00am/pm. Offering up to 3 shifts per week (Days and Waking Nights)
About the Client:
Thomas, aged 5, has profound developmental delay and complex care needs due to a Perinatal Hypoxic Brain Injury at birth. He has dystonic cerebral palsy, a PEG in situ, epilepsy, and requires suctioning. He receives support from multiple medical professionals.
Overview of Role:
The Support Worker will provide support in all aspects of Thomas's care, including his complex medical needs. Previous experience with epilepsy and suctioning is essential. Training will be provided, but candidates must be able to anticipate and respond to Thomas's needs effectively.
