As an IUC Shift Supervisor, you will ensure the smooth operation of shifts, maintaining effective patient care according to our high standards. This role involves supervising the shift to ensure seamless service delivery.
At all times the post holder must act in a manner consistent with the code of conduct and appearance representing BrisDoc and the NHS
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
Operational Supervision:
o Oversee patient advice, treatment centres, and our mobile fleet.
o Ensure timely appointments and home visits.
o Communicate with NHS 111 to balance demand and capacity.
o Produce clear and concise shift reports.
o Manage professional and patient call lines, ensuring high service standards.
o Accurately log referrals onto patient databases.
o Resource Management
o Deploy resources strategically for optimal service throughout your shift.
o Address staffing issues promptly and support Clinical Coordinators.
o Respond to healthcare system risks.
o Implement business continuity plans as needed.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience of leading others to achieve specified objectives
* Experience of working in a professional environment that requires high standards of customer service
* Good general level of education including GCSE equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
* Able to use own initiative and solve problems quickly
* Evidence of computer literacy and keyboard skills
* Organised and systematic & able to manage systems and processes in line with organisational policy and procedures
* Experience of working in healthcare / NHS
* Experience in managing people and processes
