The Westlands School is looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic colleague to join our highly successful and supportive Design Technology Department. This role would suit either an experienced teacher or an ECT looking for their first position.
The successful candidate will be:
• A skilled practitioner with a positive outlook.
• Passionate about teaching Design Technology.
• A team player who will fit well with our existing department.
• Dedicated to enabling our students to make excellent progress.
• Able to deliver good outcomes for all students.
The Design Technology Department at Westlands has a long track record of success and is able to offer our students a range of courses in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, including: Engineering, Construction, Product Design and Design Technology. The team also offers a T Level.
The successful candidate will also be given the opportunity to join the Swale Academies Trust Design Technology Network Group, giving them opportunities to work collaboratively with leaders from across our network of schools, developing innovative practice and creative ways of teaching DT.
