TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well-established conveyancing law firm based in Swansea, dedicated to providing exceptional legal services in property transactions. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Title Checker to join their dynamic and growing team.
Responsibilities:
1. Title Examination:
o Conduct thorough examinations of property titles to identify any issues or discrepancies.
o Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations related to property titles.
2. Document Review:
o Review and analyze legal documents, including deeds, mortgages, and contracts.
o Verify the accuracy of information and resolve any discrepancies.
3. Communication:
o Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external agencies to gather necessary information and resolve title-related issues.
4. Research:
o Conduct research on property records, land surveys, and zoning information.
o Stay updated on changes in property laws and regulations.
5. Quality Assurance:
o Implement quality control measures to maintain accuracy and precision in title examinations.
o Provide recommendations for resolving title-related challenges.
Qualifications:
1. Legal Background:
o Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
o Previous experience in conveyancing or property law is highly desirable.
2. Attention to Detail:
o Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot inaccuracies in legal documents.
3. Analytical Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex legal documents and resolve title issues.
4. Communication Skills:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
5. Technology Proficiency:
o Familiarity with relevant software and databases for title searches and legal research.
