ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Food Technology Teacher, your responsibilities will be:
* Teach Food Technology to students across various year groups (11-18).
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Food Technology.
* Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes both practical and theoretical knowledge in Food Technology.
* Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to support their development in Food Technology.
* Ensure the Food Technology department maintains high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation in the kitchen and classrooms.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology curriculum and share best practices.
* Provide additional support for students who need it, ensuring they excel in Food Technology.
* Participate in extracurricular activities related to Food Technology, such as school events, cooking clubs, or competitions.
* Stay up to date with current trends and developments in Food Technology to ensure the curriculum remains relevant.
Minimum Requirements:
* A passionate Food Technology Teacher who is committed to high-quality teaching and learning.
* A Food Technology Teacher with excellent subject knowledge and the ability to engage students.
* A Food Technology Teacher who values inclusivity and strives to meet the needs of all learners.
* A dedicated Food Technology Teacher who is keen to contribute to the wider school community.
* Must have QTS or PGCE.
