Seasonal Park Wardens – Hollins Farm - Hollins Farm Holiday Park is a working farm, located on the picturesque Morecambe Bay, a stone’s throw from the beach, in the heart of the Silverdale and Arnside National Landscapes area. It’s the little sister site of our Flagship Park in Silverdale, just a short walk away. Hollins Farm is close by the historic railway market town of Carnforth and conveniently situated between the city of Lancaster and Kendal, the ‘Gateway to the Lakes’. Hollins Farm offers Touring Caravan Pitches, tent pitches, 2 pods and a Holiday Cottage. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Park Warden couple who will assist in the up keep of the Holiday Park, completing daily inspections and cleaning of the well-appointed facility block, housekeeping of the holiday cottage and pods and welcoming and checking in our Holiday Guests. We want someone that will be able to answer questions from our Holiday Guests about the parks and the local area. This is a live in position, with accommodation provided on park. What hours will I work: 40 hours each week, to include evenings, weekends and school holidays. 1st April to October Location: Far Arnside, Nr Arnside, South Cumbria. Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience. Who will you report to? Assistant to the Managing Director Main Responsibilities Cleaning and maintaining, to the highest standard, our touring facilities, Glamping Pods and on park Holiday Cottage. Welcoming touring guests and escorting them to their allocated pitches and being the welcoming yet professional face of the park, greeting them and pointing out the locations of the on-site facilities. Welcome in reception all holiday guests and seasonal touring customers, being knowledgeable about the park, the nearby area and our support services. Ensure that customers and guests receive an efficient, friendly, consistent and personalised service. Perform on-call duties, including site and/or alarm call outs, site & security checks and facilities checks outside of normal working hours. Taking telephone queries and preparing arrival information. Using the bespoke booking system to make any changes to bookings. Arranging and co-ordinating the seasonal touring customers arrivals and departures, taking payments, ensuring all necessary paperwork has been completed. Delivery of gas bottles under Health & Safety g uidelines and recording thereof. Deal with conflict management of any situations that may arise at any time, including out of hours on-call periods. Reporting to Senior Management i n detail any situations, persons and resolutions or further appropriate actions, with support of Management to achieve a favourable outcome. Perform a variety of groundwork, job sheet work and maintenance checks & duties as instructed, under appropriate training and Health & safety Guidelines/COSHH Regulations. Liaise with customers daily, investigating, handling and resolving any issues/customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner. Participate in and be actively involved in promoting park facilities, products and activities. Inspection of touring/seasonal touring units and awnings during inclement weather, reporting & photograph ing any damage and liais ing with owners as appropriate.
