Here the safety of our customers is an absolute priority. We want them to create the most precious holiday memories with friends and family and having the highest health and safety standards in our partner hotels is so important to the trust placed in us.
You will be a critical part of this promise we make our customers. You will ensure the safety of our customers is managed by way of global hotel validation visits, incident investigation and the assessing of online safety checklists; responding to findings to ensure our featured products comply with Health, Fire & Safety standards.
This involves international travel every third week for up to approx. 5 days. You will fly out to a destination to check approximately three hotels a day, conducting safety checks and validating that all standards are met against a predefined checklist. Influencing the hotel partners you meet with on site, to ensure all checks can be carried out and returning on your non travel weeks to write reports, input your findings into our in-house safety system and follow up on any actions that need to be taken by the hotel. It is fast paced where you need to turn around the reports from your checks before you head off on your next trip.
This is a real opportunity for someone from a variety of career backgrounds. You could be already working at a NEBOSH general certificate level, or work in a Health and Safety team and want to move into undertaking the inspections validation visits or have exposure to health and safety in your role and want to take on a dedicated role in a Health and Safety team. The ability to effectively influence others, work independently but still as part of a team, plan your own work, work to tight deadlines and follow strict procedures are a must.
