SGS College's Construction Apprenticeship Department has an exciting opportunity for a Gas, Plumbing and Heating Lecturer/Assessor to join SGS College.

Location: SGS Horizon 38, Bristol
FTE Salary: up to £39,495.00 per annum, plus £5,000 annual market supplement (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st July 2025
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Support recruitment of construction engineering apprenticeships
* Responsibility for a cohort of construction engineering apprentices
* Secure repeat business from employers of apprentices
* Plan and support recording of the 20% off the job requirement
* Support the continued improvement of SGS Apprenticeships
* Deliver the work-based element of the apprenticeships, including on-site training, assessment and reviews
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent or have substantial relevant subject experience and occupational competence
* Assessors Qualification (A1)
* Teaching Qualification (DTLLS)
* GCSE Maths and English grade C or above or Level 2 equivalent
* Experience in the required sector (plumbing, heating and gas engineering)
