Job Description
We would like to present you with an exciting opportunity for a Regional Quality Coordinator to join our friendly team in Leicester on a 12 month fixed term basis!
As a Regional Quality Coordinator you will manage and maintain Quality of all products produced at IPS Leicester and Coventry through the control of Product Specifications, in accordance with QA and Food Safety standards.
Salary: £33,000 per annum.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-14:30pm.
Key Duties of a Regional Quality Coordinator:
* Ensures product quality, integrity and traceability at all times through the utilisation, control, administration and management of the IPS Quality Procedures.
* Ensures the IPS operation at Leicester and Coventry adheres at all times to the IPS Quality Management System.
* Provide the day to day review of the Quality Systems and support to the Production Department.
* Ensure the final product meets client specifications (SPI).
* Effectively use the integrated management systems (VISION).
* To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
* To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
* Ensure customer complaints are analysed to ensure trends are actioned and reasons for anomalies identified.
* Conduct Regular Safety Audits: Perform routine safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, taking corrective actions as necessary.
* Staff Training and Awareness: Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and awareness of health and safety practices.
* Risk Assessments: Carry out thorough risk assessments for all operational activities to identify risks and implement appropriate controls to mitigate them.
* Reporting and Incident Investigation: Promote a culture of safety by encouraging the reporting of near misses and incidents.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance.
* Experience within an administrative team in a production environment.
* Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner.
* Displays a positive attitude to change.
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to strict deadlines.
* Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
