Job description:
* Teaching BTEC Computing and digital skills
* A degree in Computing is required to teach this role - perfect part-time opportunity
* Working for an FE College in Greater Manchester
Responsibilities of Computing Lecturer:
* Working in the Computing Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
* Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
* Delivery of BTEC
Core Purpose:
* To teach students assigned to the teacher and to ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
* To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
* To monitor and assess student progress to improve their quality of learning and personal growth.
Requirements of a Computing Lecturer:
* A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
* Experience of delivering the subject.
* A computing related Degree is essential
* A current DBS on the update service
