White Raven Resourcing Ltd are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to permanent recruitment services. Working in partnership with Cheshire Mouldings, we are looking for hard working Production Operatives on a permanent basis to join the team on site at Normans Road to manufacture mouldings. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production Machines within your control. You will need to have at least 1 years experience working in a manufacturing environment, whether machine feeding, setting or programming. You will be required to carry out quality checks, work to strict deadlines, ensure targets are met and adhere to Health & Safety guidelines. The basis of the role is to manufacture products in line with company standards and health & safety procedures. Principle duties include: · Work to targets & KPIs to meet customer demand. · Involvement in quality issues, ensuring low waste of product. · Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained. · Liaising and communicating with team members effectively. · Reporting of breakdowns and/or technical issues to ensure quick solutions and loss of production time. · Ensuring changeovers are efficient and effective. · Completion of detailed and accurate documentation. · Ensuring all data entry into the inhouse system (Biztrak) are current and inline with current pallet control. · Ensuring all safety equipment including guarding is used correctly and is working effectively · Adhere to all company Health and Safety policies & guidelines. · Undertake designated tasks allocated by managers which may be in the production or warehousing areas. Requirements You need to have worked in a production or manufacturing environment previously either as a machine feeder or a machine setter. You'll be working in a high paced environment with machines running 60m to 100m of timber an hour, it's a physically demanding role. You'll also need: · High level of attention to detail and accuracy · Team player · Effective communication skills · Ability to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment · Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements with a strong safety focus Benefits Permanent role. 42.5 hours per week. £13.50 per hour (£29,800 p.a) 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. Fixed days 0800 - 1730 Monday to Friday - No Weekends
