Job Description: The school are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, delivering high-quality art education in a dynamic and supportive environment. The school has a large onsite car park and a friendly team of staff. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach a range of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, supporting their creative portfolios. Foster a love of art and design, encouraging critical thinking and creativity. Maintain a well-organized, safe, and inspiring classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to cross-curricular projects and school events. Support extracurricular art clubs and activities. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Art, Design, or a related discipline. Proven teaching experience at secondary school level. Strong subject knowledge and technical skills in various art mediums. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Passion for inspiring students and fostering creativity. Desirable: Experience with digital design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator). A-Level teaching experience.
