As Teacher of English at The Edge Academy and working alongside the subject Lead, you'll be involved in adapting the English curriculum to meet the diverse needs of our students and would suit either ECTs looking for a first role in teaching, ECTs looking for progression opportunities or more experienced MPS teachers. Your excellent subject knowledge and inspirational teaching style will motivate disengaged students to reach their potential. The Teacher of English is expected to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support their designated curriculum area as appropriate. You will work with students with varying abilities and different needs from KS3 up to GCSE level. You must be positive, resilient, friendly and hard working. This role is challenging, rewarding and will allow the successful applicant to be creative. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
